GNB Industrial Power Named Preferred Partner By Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) and Rapidparts Inc.
Latest GNB® Batteries, Chargers and Accessories Available to MCFA Dealers
Atlanta, Georgia – (July 12, 2018) – GNB Industrial Power, a division of Exide Technologies (www.exide.com), announced today its continuation as a preferred partner through 2020 for batteries and solutions by Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America Inc. (MCFA) and Rapidparts Inc. (Rapidparts). Rapidparts, a wholly-owned subsidiary of MCFA, supplies Cat® lift trucks, Mitsubishi forklift trucks and Jungheinrich® dealers and their customers with quality forklift replacement parts, regardless of the make or model.
Through the GNB program, MCFA dealers will have access to the latest GNB products and solutions, including the new Fury X-3™ line of chargers and the new GNB® LiFTFORCE LPX™ lithium-ion battery, which was recently introduced at MODEX 2018 and will be commercially available in July.
“We are pleased to extend our partnership with MCFA and Rapidparts for two more years,” said Mark Jesko, Vice-President, Industrial Sales, Exide Technologies. “Their parts programs bring the highest quality parts, products and support to keep lift truck fleets in prime condition, and our GNB batteries, chargers and accessories provide the right solutions for all forklift power needs.”
LiFTFORCE LPX can charge in just 15 minutes, up to eight times faster than a traditional lead-acid battery, and provides increased cycle life and lower maintenance requirements for Class I, II, and III forklifts as well as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and other demanding applications.
Fury X-3, the new line of GNB chargers, will roll out beginning this summer. They are modular multi-voltage opportunity chargers designed for industrial battery fleet applications and ready to charge almost any motive battery from lead acid (Gel, AGM and Flooded) to Lithium Ion.
In addition to these new products, MCFA dealers will have full access to GNB’s extensive battery portfolio, to meet the evolving power needs of the material handling industry.
