I am the Marketing Manager for Canada. I work out of the Canadian head office located in Mississauga Ontario which is in the Toronto area.
I came to Exide from an automotive wiring company in 2005. I started in a newly formed Marketing Manager position at Exide where I was able to show my creative side while developing implementing a wide variety of marketing projects and programs. In 2008 I spent a year in the field as a District Sales Manager for the Toronto and surrounding area before returning back to the Marketing Manager position. This assignment gave me the opportunity to work with the diverse customer base and to put to practical use, the marketing programs and projects that I had a part in developing. Today I am working on quite a few exciting sales and marketing projects including the implementation of Salesforce CRM within the Canadian organization.
I find it important that I can make a difference within a respected organization that has been around since 1888. Exide has a good reputation with consumers and within the industry. The company is constantly evolving and striving to be a market leader. It makes me proud to tell others I work for Exide when the company produces a quality battery, invests in research and development, and through in house battery recycling makes a positive environmental statement.
I love to travel and explore different countries with my wife and 2 kids. When not researching travel locations, I enjoy learning about geography and history. In the last few years, I have researched my family history across many countries dating back to the 1500’s. In 2011 I started researching Exide’s history focusing on Exide marketing. From external sources I have located and acquired quite a number of Exide marketing documents and advertisements going as far back as 1911. It is interesting to see how language and marketing styles have changed over the years.
Exide is a fast paced progressive company to work for. By joining Exide you are joining a team dedicated to both personal and corporate development and excellence.
