I am a product development engineer that works specifically with the Spiral wound AGM products.
I began working with the company while still in college as Exide sponsored my senior design course. This was when I first became interested in battery technologies as the backbone of the “green” energy movement. I joined the company in August of 2010 and currently hold my starting position. Since I have been here I have enjoyed getting to know the experienced staff that Exide employs, and have been working the staff in Bristol, Tennessee in preparation for upcoming products.
I would highlight the experienced and personable staff that Exide employs. I feel that companies are often constrained by the team they employ and Exide has positioned itself to succeed with its choice of personnel.
I spend my time off with my wife camping, caving, and hiking. I also volunteer with my church’s youth group and spend a good portion of my time mentoring the youth in that program.
Exide has been an excellent company to work for, and I would highly recommend to any that is interested in the “green” energy industry or is interested in battery technologies. The company has been responsive and team oriented, as well as loyal to there employees. Exide is moving forward in the industry and developing a path to success.
