Linda, what do you do in Exide?

I am the Corporate Traffic Manager for Industrial NA and the Global Export Administrator. I started with GNB in 2000.

How do you rate this period of time in the Company?

In the past ten years I have seen many changes, challenges and successes. I am lucky to be involved with almost every aspect of the business through my position in Logistics. I work with inbound shipments from vendors for manufacturing, outbound product shipments to customers, engineering samples and prototypes, international intercompany shipments, accounting and legal departments.
I especially like keeping up with the International transport regulations and hazardous material rules. Being in full compliance is number 1 priority.

What do you value most in Exide?

The diversity of the company. Also I am quite proud of the fact that I work for a company that is focused on being environmentally responsible with our recycling programs.

How is Linda like when she is out of work?

I love to cook and entertain. Spending time with friends and family is truly a joy for me.

What would you tell to those willing to join the team?

It is a great opportunity to belong to a global company with so much potential.
You will never be bored.
