Motive Power Announcement template

The Exide Technologies Industrial Energy division, with headquarters in both Büdingen, Germany, and Aurora, Illinois, manufactures, markets, distributes, and recycles industrial batteries for both motive and network power applications. Industrial batteries fall into two categories, those that supply motive power for vehicles such as fork lift trucks, and those that stand by to provide emergency or backup power to critical, uninterruptible operations when the AC or DC power is out.

Motive power batteries power the lift trucks and other commercial electric vehicles used across the materials handling industry to supply goods and products ordered through traditional or on-line channels.  These vehicles, which move raw materials and finished goods through all parts of the supply chain, including retail stores, logistics hubs, warehouses, cross-docking points and distribution centers, are an integral part of modern materials handling.  Providing the batteries that power these and a host of other commercial electric vehicles is the job of the motive power teams within Exide Technologies’ Industrial Energy Division.
